Fashion Friday: Road Trip Style 2

Updated: Sep 27, 2020

What do you wear to road trip MANY miles across the USA, with varying temperatures (inside and outside the car)? Again with the leggings and sneakers (this time perforated leather). A flowy printed tank (an old Banana Republic clearance purchase) and waterfall cardigan the color of the Montana sky in July add some style to the comfort equation. This cardigan was generously gifted by Storyline Collection. They are currently running a monthly special: buy any red, white, or blue item, and get a second item 50% off. I’ve been given several pieces from this line to try out, and I must say, they are beautifully made, with performance fabrics that wash incredibly. Check out this collection at StorylineCollection.com/GeriTrue. Sneakers: Sperry, sunglasses: Ray Ban, bag: handwoven from discarded trash bags by a women’s weaving collective in Antigua, Guatemala. Watch: J Crew for Timex (eBay), bracelet: Lokai.

Devil’s Tower, Wyoming. The USA’s first national monument.

Strolling around the beautiful University of Oregon in Eugene, I realized that there is a lot of cost-free enjoyment to be had by enjoying the architecture, landscaping, and public art at our university campuses.

When we pulled into Salt Lake City, we didn’t know what to expect from Temple Square. As it turns out, the temple is under a massive renovation. We may need to revisit it in 4-5 years!
