Powder Room design

I love a powder room with personality! 😁 You can go dark, dramatic, luxe, whimsical...lots of directions that might be “too much” in a space where you spend more time. This time it’s all about natural materials and textures, sparked with meaningful accents. The wood “riddling rack” (used to turn wine bottles to prevent excess sediment) came from an antique store in upstate New York. The keyboard was a vintage find in the Omaha Old Market. Artist Dan Terpstra created the small carved and painted wood piece over the towel holder (purchased through the LUX Center for the Arts). The Picasso-esque b/w piece was bought from the artist at the Christmas Market in Eugene, Oregon. The photo of a Chicago alley was taken by @Sydneytruestudio, and framed by The Framing Company in Lincoln. In the second pic, the horse photo (my childhood steed) is by Cynthia Johnson, and the T-shirt painting is by Judith Burton. #howihome#smallbathroomideas #artistmade#livingwithlux
