As someone who is committed to taking VERY good care of my clothing investments, I’ve personally gone through at least a half dozen different tools and methods of de-pilling sweaters, with mixed results. Up until recently, the best option (for me) has been using a fresh razor (one of the pricey ones that is meant to handle bodily curves) ever so carefully, then removing the debris with masking tape. Hardly an efficient process. Then, a blogger I follow did a testimonial for the Gleener. It was inexpensive, didn’t eat batteries, and available on Amazon, so I took a chance. I have to say, it works! It’s still slow going on super fuzzy items, but I choose to think of the process as meditative, not tedious.
