This super easy DIY is also a very sentimental piece. It started with my mother’s jewelry box after she passed away. She lived in the era of Sarah Coventry jewelry parties (one of the relatively rare purely social opportunities for “farm wives” at the time). As a result, she accrued a modest collection of these “wear to church” pieces, including the central pin and matching earrings in this piece. I sought out two more pairs of the earrings at local flea markets, and simply pinned/clipped all onto a gray silk necklace cord. It makes me think of Mom’s kind, frugal, and make-it-work spirit whenever I wear it.
