#StuffIMadeSaturday This is a piece I made years ago, from irregularly-shaped yellow jade beads and a pendant which began life as part of a pair of 1980s earrings. Yes, we wore these huge things on our ears (or at least I did). This particular pair was artist-made of stamped sterling. I had a jeweler remove the post and solder two loops on the back...et voila! A one-of-a-kind statement necklace (although given its origin, I suppose a second one could happen...).
