View from The Boathouse in Coronado, CA. This restaurant’s promenade features art pieces which incorporate amazing vintage images of Coronado‘ s history, especially its time as Tent City. The costliness of the famous Del Coronado Hotel led enterprising folks to set up restaurants, hotels, and shops in camp-style tents surrounding “The Del” from 1900-1938, and this canvas community became a vacation destination in its own right. #traveltuesday
